The CXS Compact cordless drill is the latest, and by far the smallest, extension of Festool’s Li-Ion drill platform. Featuring the FastFix chuck system, the CXS can be used with the Centrotec chuck, keyless chuck, or an optional right angle attachment that allows you to access even the tightest spaces. As you would expect, the CXS features exceptional ergonomics, with a battery design that removes the bulk from the handle, ensuring maximum comfort over extended use. Weighing in just under 2 pounds with the Centrotec chuck attached, the CXS will not leave you feeling fatigued even after all day use. The CXS offers exceptional battery life and an ultra-low recharge time, fully recharging in just 30 minutes. The drill comes with two 10.8v 1.3Ah Lithium Ion batteries to keep you drilling and driving instead of waiting for a battery to recharge. 3-Year Warranty

Festool offers a three year limited warranty, one of the longest in the industry. Festool will even cover all shipping costs during the first year of the warranty. Festool warrants that the CXS cordless drill, charger and batteries will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a term of three years from the date of purchase.

FastFix Interchangeable Chucks

Comfortable Ergonomics

Ergonomics are an important consideration in the design process for Festool power tools. We realize that your cordless drill is probably the tool you use the most. Onboard Bit Stowage

Integrated Belt Clip

Sometimes you need to use both of your hands but don't want your drill too far out of reach. The CXS has an integrated belt clip which can be switched to either side of the drill to meet your preference.

Lithium Ion Battery Technology

Did we mention we warranty your batteries for three years! Our cordless drills represent the culmination of the best technology available today, with features unique only to Festool. . Battery cells are carefully tested and selected to find matched sets to enhance cell balancing. This technique ensures equal charge and discharge cycles, thus prolonging battery life and efficiency.

FastFix Centrotec Chuck

For lighter weight and a more compact form factor, use the Centrotec chuck with its full array of interchangable drill, driver bits and accessories. Using the Centrotec chuck saves approximately a half of a pound of weight when compared to a standard keyless chuck. Quickly change between bits by depressing the outer green ring. The Centrotec chuck comes standard with a magnetic bit holder that works well with standard 1/4-inch hex shank bits.

FastFix Right Angle Chuck

The right-angle chuck provides a 90° angle to the drill tranmission for tight spaces. This chuck can swivel a full 360 degrees with 16 locking positions. It can also be combined with the Centrotec or Keyless Drill chucks for additional functionality. Or, just stick a 1/4" hex shank bit right into the right angle chuck itself.

FastFix Keyless Drill Chuck

Quickly change to the keylesschuck by depressing the green ring and connecting it to the drill. The CXS-series drills include a non-ratcheting keyless chuck which accepts up to 5/16" in diameter bits.
