Although I am the owner of multiple Festool products, I must say that the OF 1400 router is my favourite. The smoothness of the plunge operation, coupled with the 'soft start' function, and quiet operation has made this tool the only router of many that I use. In combination with my Leigh Jig MFT system, projects have become faster to construct and more accurate as well.
