Kapex Sliding Compound Miter Saw Applications.

The KS 120 has a small footprint and compact design with a great amount of power. The power and impressive cutting depth of the KS 120 will make you think that you are working with a much larger saw. This saw is remarkable. It has the cutting capacity of a 12" unit and is capable of cutting trim molding almost 4 3/4" tall in the special cutting position, and hardwoods greater than 3" thick, smoothly and precisely.

Faster - The included MiterFast Angle Transfer Device makes quick work of transcribing inside or outside angles.
Easier - Control the bevel setting with never before seen precision using the adjust knob and large gauge.
Rail Forward Design - Reduces deflection and optimizes work space by allowing the saw to be placed against a wall.

Most miter saws are not designed to cut anything but wood, but with variable speed capability, the Kapex allows you to match the speed of the blade with the requirements of the material. Efficient dust extraction is a foremost consideration in the design of the Kapex, allowing you to focus on your work, not on cleaning up. The saw comes with an angle transfer device and dual laser guides to eliminate complex angle calculations by copying the angle directly from the wall to the saw.

The Domino joiner system allows me to use smaller pieces of wood or scrap to complete several of my home projects. I made a 2 panel door from 2X4s that I could join easily with the Domino, instead of more expensive 6 inch wide stock. This saved both wood and cash! Joining smaller pieces for projects also saves me time and gas in trips to the local lumber yard. The Domino, instead of more tedious mortise and tenon joints, is so simple, even my amateur skills can produce great results. Paul G., Ohio
