Splinter Guard

The splinter guard on the rail and machine ensures splinter-free cuts on both sides when sawing with the track saw. For longitudinal and cross cuts in wood and coated materials, it prevents tearing of the edges and improves the cutting result. The splinter guard also increases the cutting quality when using the track saw for angular and miter cuts.

Guide System

Invented and perfected by Festool: the guide rail. For straight and dependable guidance, whether ripping or cross-cutting. To help ensure the perfect cut, the rails may be clamped to the surface. Additional accessories are available for repeated cuts and angle cuts, making the guide system accurate and repeatable.
